Abstract
In the article author defines globalization its features and effects. Furthermore, it presents the characteristics of foreign direct investment with its crucial role in the process of globalization and development of national economies. Then author discuss the reasons of the latest
world economic crisis and its dissemination all over the world. In the light of economic crisis the
article presents the role played by foreign direct investment in global economy. Author also presents
changes in the juxtaposition of top sources and influx countries of foreign direct investment. Finally,
author considerate government actions accelerating influx of foreign direct investment.
