Abstract
The aim of this chapter is to present a new approach to entrepreneurship
education through close synergy between students, teachers and virtual
organisations. Namely, the increased number of people employed in virtual
organisations requires new skills adjusted to the changing business models of
the existing companies. Together with IT entrepreneurship and virtual
organisations development, two parallel processes emerged. Those processes
are analysed within this chapter. The first one relates to the impact of virtual
educational enterprises on transforming the entrepreneurship education and the
second one relates to a new set of skills necessary for new generation of
entrepreneurs. Our research has shown that it is necessary to work on a
reduction of barriers between students and teachers and creating a new
learning environment which will enhance student satisfaction and strong
motivation to develop their entrepreneurship ideas and turn them into reality,
supported by new technologies.
